Dance With Georgia – Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: July 2026

1. Registration

By enrolling with Dance With Georgia through ClassForKids, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

A place in class is only confirmed once your booking has been accepted and your subscription has been successfully set up.

2. Monthly Subscription

Dance With Georgia operates on an 11-month subscription payment plan.

  • Annual tuition fees are divided into 11 equal monthly payments, collected from September to July.
  • Your monthly payment reserves your child's place in their class throughout the academic year.
  • Payments are based on the annual cost of tuition and are not calculated by the number of classes attended each month.
  • Monthly payments remain the same regardless of school holidays, half terms, bank holidays or the varying number of lessons in each month.
  • No payment is taken in August, as this is the summer break between academic years.
  • A child's place will automatically continue into the next academic year unless written notice is received in accordance with the cancellation policy.

3. Payments

  • Monthly subscription payments are collected automatically via ClassForKids.
  • It is the responsibility of the account holder to ensure sufficient funds are available.
  • Any failed or missed payment must be settled promptly.
  • Dance With Georgia reserves the right to suspend attendance until outstanding fees have been paid.
  • Continued non-payment may result in the cancellation of your child's place.

4. Cancelling Your Subscription

If you wish to cancel your child's membership, you must provide one full calendar month's written notice by email.

Your child may continue attending classes during the notice period.

Monthly payments already collected are non-refundable.

5. Missed Classes

If your child misses a class due to illness, holidays, school trips or any other personal reason:

  • Refunds, credits or replacement classes cannot be offered.
  • Your subscription secures your child's place within the class rather than paying for individual sessions.

6. Classes Cancelled by Dance With Georgia

If Dance With Georgia needs to cancel a class due to circumstances within our control, we will make every effort to provide:

  • a replacement class;
  • a suitable alternative teacher; or
  • another appropriate solution.

Where this is not possible, a credit may be applied at Dance With Georgia's discretion.

Classes cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, venue closures, public health guidance or other emergencies, may not be refundable. Every effort will be made to arrange an alternative where possible.

7. Uniform

Students are expected to wear the correct Dance With Georgia uniform and appropriate footwear for their class.

For health and safety:

  • Long hair must be securely tied back.
  • Jewellery should not be worn unless required for medical reasons.
  • Water bottles should be brought to every class.

8. Medical Information

Parents or guardians must inform Dance With Georgia of any:

  • medical conditions;
  • allergies;
  • injuries;
  • additional needs; or
  • changes to emergency contact details.

All information should be kept up to date via ClassForKids.

9. Photography & Video

Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during classes, rehearsals, performances and events.

Images may be used for:

  • Dance With Georgia's website;
  • social media;
  • promotional material;
  • printed publications; and
  • marketing.

Only children whose parent or guardian has provided consent via ClassForKids will be included.

10. Behaviour

Dance With Georgia aims to provide a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for every student.

Students are expected to:

  • show kindness and respect to teachers and fellow dancers;
  • listen carefully to instructions;
  • behave safely at all times; and
  • help create a positive learning environment.

Where behaviour becomes consistently disruptive or unsafe, Dance With Georgia reserves the right to withdraw a student's place following discussion with parents.

11. Parent Responsibilities

Parents and guardians are responsible for:

  • dropping off and collecting children promptly;
  • ensuring emergency contact details remain up to date;
  • notifying Dance With Georgia of any absences where possible; and
  • ensuring fees are paid on time.

Dance With Georgia cannot accept responsibility for children outside of their scheduled class times.

12. Performances, Rehearsals & Events

Performance opportunities form an important part of training at Dance With Georgia.

Students may be invited to participate in:

  • annual showcases;
  • examinations;
  • community performances;
  • competitions;
  • demonstrations; and
  • other events.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • costumes;
  • theatre hire;
  • examination fees;
  • photography;
  • videography; and
  • event tickets.

These costs will always be communicated in advance.

The monthly subscription includes your child's regular weekly classes together with any additional rehearsals organised by Dance With Georgia that are required for performances or showcases, unless otherwise stated.

During performance periods, classes may focus more heavily on learning and rehearsing routines. Whilst technical training remains important, the balance of lessons may naturally shift towards performance preparation.

Occasionally, additional rehearsals may be scheduled outside normal class times. Families will receive as much notice as possible.

Dance With Georgia reserves the right to withdraw routines or cancel performances if participant numbers are too low or due to unforeseen circumstances.

13. Class Changes

Dance With Georgia continually reviews its timetable to ensure classes remain enjoyable and sustainable.

We reserve the right to:

  • change class times;
  • change venues;
  • combine classes;
  • appoint a different teacher;
  • alter timetables; or
  • discontinue a class where necessary.

Where possible, at least four weeks' notice will be given of permanent changes.

14. Safeguarding

Dance With Georgia is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child.

All staff and volunteers follow current safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.

15. Health & Safety

Dance is a physical activity and, whilst every effort is made to minimise risk, participation is at the student's own risk.

Parents should ensure their child is medically fit to take part in dance classes and should inform Dance With Georgia of any injuries before class.

16. Personal Property

Students are responsible for their own belongings.

Dance With Georgia cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal property.

17. Liability

Dance With Georgia accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage except where caused by proven negligence.

18. Changes to Terms & Conditions

Dance With Georgia reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where necessary.

Any significant changes will be communicated to families in advance.
